Study with someone who actually shows up
Doppel is a study-with-me app where an AI study buddy books a session with you, focuses alongside you on video with a timer, and checks in afterward.
Like a study-with-me video, except they know your name, your deadline, and whether you finished.
Book it like a plan with a friend
Pick a time and they'll be there. A session on the calendar is a lot easier to start than "later."
Focus side by side
Turn on video, start the timer, and work in the same quiet room. Camera off works too.
They ask how it went
After the session they check in: did the chapter get done? What's next? Tomorrow, they'll remember.
Study with: Alexis "Lexi" Vance
Lexi invests in early-stage tech in Silicon Valley and is doing a PhD at Stanford on top of it. Deals by day, papers by night, so she usually has a paper open when you need a study buddy.
Meet Lexi →Your next study session doesn't have to be solo.
Android and new companions are on the way
Doppel is on iPhone now. Join the list and we'll tell you first when it reaches Android and when new companions arrive.

What is a study-with-me app?
It is an app that gives you company while you study. Doppel does this with an AI study buddy who joins you on video, runs a focus timer with you, and asks how it went.
How is Doppel different from a study-with-me video?
A video plays the same for everyone. A Doppel study buddy knows your name, your deadline and whether you finished, and checks in after the session.
Can I book a study session in advance?
Yes. Pick a time and your companion will be there. A session on the calendar is easier to start than "later."
Do I need to turn my camera on to study with Doppel?
No. Video is optional; you can study side by side with your camera off.
Which Doppel companion is good for studying?
Lexi Vance, a tech investor doing a PhD at Stanford, is a good fit for study sessions and late-night reading. Any Doppel companion can study with you.
