Is there an app for when I just want someone to talk to?
Yes. Doppel gives you AI friends you can text or video call at any hour. They bring their own news to the conversation and remember what you told them.
Can I video call an AI friend on Doppel?
Yes. You can hop on a video call with a Doppel companion and hang out while you cook, walk or wind down. Your camera is optional.
Do we have to talk the whole time?
No. You can leave the call on while you do your own thing. Company does not always mean conversation.
Can Doppel help in an emergency?
No. Doppel friends are AI and cannot help in an emergency. If you are in danger or thinking about hurting yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis line now, such as 988 in the US, or find one at findahelpline.com.
Is Doppel a dating app?
No. Doppel is about company and friendship: someone to talk to, study with or check in on you. Think friend, not match.
